At Logmate we appreciate the challenges of running a small business. We are constantly looking for ways to improve how we do business and how we can best support our users.
Compiling information for end of year tax returns can be tricky, especially when it comes to establishing business vehicle usage. So we have developed a tool to provide you with the raw vehicle usage data from your work time entries.
We will supply you with a raw data extract detailing the information you and your accountant will require to establish accurate vehicle usage in order to claim back business usage of your vehicle.
Requests are open now and close on the 30th of April 2024, so get your request in now to not miss out!
If you have already put in a request please do not submit another one! We will process all requests once submissions close on the 30th of April 2024 and have exports delivered via email before the end of May 2024.

What data will be included in my export?
The vehicle used for each trip, identified by its registration number
Time, date, and location for the start and end of each trip
Odometer readings at the beginning and end of each trip
The total distance traveled during each trip
What format will I receive the data export?
The usage data will be delivered in CSV format so you are able to work with the raw data and summarise where required
How long will it take to receive my export?
You will receive your export before the end of May 2024.
How much will it cost?
Nothing. This report is absolutely free.
Why might my request not be able to be processed?
The personal information provided is incorrect or doesn't match a Driver Account on Logmate. In this case we will try our best to contact you and collect the correct information to proceed.
How do you establish vehicle usage?
Usage will be taken from the entries you have inputted into your Logmate Driver Logbook and will be dependent on odometer data you have provided.
If I haven’t inputted odometer readings within my work shifts will I be able to use this export to determine my vehicle usage?
No. You must have manually inputted odometer readings while making your work-time entries in Logmate in order for us to provide vehicle usage data. We do not use start and stop locations to determine usage.
Note: information is generated by the odometer values you have inputted. By requesting this data export you are acknowledging you understand this.
