Driver Vehicles

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When making work-time entries in your logbook you need to include details about the vehicle you are driving. We also share copies of your work-shift records based on the TSL assigned to your vehicle record used in that shift. Therefore, managing your Driver vehicles in Logmate and keeping their information up to date is really important.

You can manage your Driver Vehicles both within the Logmate Logbook App or your Driver Admin through a webpage. The process is exactly the same, it just looks a little different depending on whether you are in the Logbook App or Driver Admin.

To manage everything with your Driver Vehicles you need to navigate to the Vehicle page by clicking on:

  • the Vehicle icon in the bottom nav bar in the Logmate App or

  • Vehicles in the side menu in the Driver Admin.

Adding A Vehicle

To add a new Driver Vehicle:

  1. Click on the + button in the top right corner

  2. If you are in the Logbook App use the camera to scan the barcode on your registration label on your vehicles windscreen or click on Add Manually and enter your registration number.

  3. If you are in the Driver Admin enter your registration number

  4. Select a TSL to assign to the vehicle (or invite a new Operator)

  5. Enter the odometer/hubdometer value

  6. Click Save

Edit An Existing Vehicle

  2. Make the changes to the TSL or odometer/hubdometer that you need to

  3. Click Save

  2. Click on the rubbish bin icon

  3. Confirm the action by saying YES
