How Do I Close My Logmate Account?

Steps on how to close your account with Logmate

You can close your account with Logmate at anytime. However, the steps look a little different for Driver vs Operators.

For Drivers

  1. Log into your Driver Admins (https://admins.logmate.co.nz/driver/)

  2. Click on Account in the left side menu

  3. Click Close and follow the steps

    1. Complete Current Work Shift

    2. Cancel Subscription

    3. Export Work Shifts (you are legally responsible - by the NZTA - to hold your previous 12 months worth of logbook records)

    4. Confirm Account Closure

Please Note: if you decide to return to Logmate in the future, simply message us at help@logmate.co.nz and we will assist in reopening your Logmate account.

For Operators

  1. Log into your Operator Admins (https://admins.logmate.co.nz/operator/)

  2. Click on Account in the left side menu

  3. Click Close and follow the steps

    1. Export Work Shifts (you are legally responsible - by the NZTA - to hold your Drivers' previous 12 months worth of logbook records)

    2. Cancel Subscriptions

    3. Archive related Drivers

    4. Archive Admins

    5. Confirm Account Closure

Please Note: if you decide to return to Logmate in the future, simply message us at help@logmate.co.nz and we will assist in reopening your Logmate account.

  • It is important to remember that Logmate is a compliance tool and is used for regulatory compliance purposes under New Zealand law. Therefore, it is important that you understand your obligations when it comes to retaining and accessing your historic logbook records.

    • You need to maintain access to your logbook records for 12 months from their creation date

    • After your account closure we will retain all relevant data as per our Privacy Policy
