If you drive a diesel vehicle or a heavy vehicle (greater than 3.5tonnes) you are required to record your vehicle odometer/hubdometer in your logbook. For all other vehicles recording your odometer value in your logbook is optional.
To simplify this requirement we give you the option to set the odometer/hubdometer as a required field based on the vehicle.
If you want your logbook to require you to input a odometer/hubdometer then move the slider next to the Odometer field to required and input your starting value
If you want the odometer value to be optional in your logbook (you can still enter a value if you choose) then leave the slider to the left (greyed out)
