Receiving A "New Logbook" Email From Logmate

What to do when a Driver driving under your TSL number would like to start using the Logmate Digital Logbook

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you received an email from Logmate titled Logmate: New Logbook it means a Driver has indicated they Drive under your TSL in their Digital Logbook provided by Logmate.ย

Your First Two Drivers

If this is the first couple of Drivers in your fleet that has requested to use a Digital Logbook, then we understand the change could be a little daunting. Fortunately, you don't have to do much to get these 1-2 folks setup properly. Once you setup a free Owner Operator account and accept those 1-2 Driver requests to drive under your TSL number, instead of that Driver hand delivering copies of their paper logbook to you, you will receive them as an attached PDF via email the moment the Driver finishes and locks their shift.ย

What's Next?

You don't have to do anything further and you will continue to receive your Drivers' shifts in PDF form via email free of charge.

If you have more than two Drivers, please read the section below along with our article, "Why Should I Create A Transport Operator Account With Logmate?" to learn more about this and other great features we can offer your business.

More Than Two Drivers

If you have more than three Drivers who drive under your TSL number, you will need to upgrade your free Owner Operator account to a Transport Operator account. You will then be able to add as many new Drivers that you wish. Once they have an approved relationship with your company/TSL number, you will start receiving emails with their shifts as well. Upgrading to a Transport Operator account also comes with many more features in the Operator Admins and insights into your Drivers.
