Sharing & Exporting Your Work-Time Records

How to share logbook records with operators automatically and export shifts as PDF from Logmate Admins.

Updated today

Sharing your logbook with your operators is a key part of work-time compliance in New Zealand. Logmate makes this easy with both automatic and manual options.

Automatic Sharing With Your Operators

When you lock your shift, Logmate automatically makes that work-shift record available to all approved TSL Holders — no action required from you.

To set this up:

  1. Add your TSL Holder — see Manage TSL Holders

  2. Lock your shifts — copies are sent when you lock, not when you end your shift

If your TSL Holder does not yet have a Logmate account, they will receive a copy of your work-shift record via email when you lock a shift.

Note: Operator invites are valid for 7 days. If the invite expires, you can re-send it.

Manual Export (From Logmate Admins)

You may need to share records later — for an audit, a new operator, or your own files.

  1. Log into your Logmate Admins

  2. Navigate to Shifts in the side menu

  3. Use the date filter to find the shifts you need

  4. Select individual shifts (tick the checkbox) or click the top checkbox to select all
    Maximum 50 shifts per export

  5. Click View (top right)

  6. Click Download to save as PDF

You can then print or email the PDF to whoever needs it.

Use the quick filters (... next to date filter) to jump to Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, or Last 30 Days.
