A Software Licence grants the holder use of the Logmate Mobile App. It is allocated in one of two ways:
A related Operator Account (TSL Holder) assigns one to you via their Subscription, OR
You purchase your own Subscription via your Logbook Account.
Trial Licence
New Logbook Accounts receive a 21-day Trial Licence. This gives you full access to the Mobile App while you get set up.
View your Software Licence
Open the Mobile App and tap the menu icon at the top left, then tap Software Licence.
Each Software Licence shows:
Status β active, pending, or cancelled
Valid until β trial end date or next billing date
Supplied by β self-managed or the operator's name
You can also view your licence in Logmate Admins at admins.logmate.co.nz under Logbook Account > Subs & Licences.

If you have no existing Software Licence:
Open the Logmate Mobile App.
Tap the menu icon at the top left.
Tap Software Licence.
Tap Activate Trial Licence.
Your 21-day trial begins immediately.
Renew your licence
If your self-managed licence has expired:
Open the Logmate Mobile App.

If your operator removes your licence, you need to set up a self-managed licence to keep using the Logmate Mobile App.
