Record an Other Duty entry for non-driving work.

What counts as Other Duty

Other Duty is any paid work that is not driving. Examples:

  • Loading or unloading

  • Paperwork and administration

  • Refuelling

  • Vehicle maintenance and inspections

  • Waiting on duty

  • Any other work-related task

Start Other Duty at shift start

  1. Tap NEW SHIFT on the home screen.

  2. Tap OTHER DUTY.

  3. Confirm or edit the start time β€” set to now by default, or edit to a time in the past.

  4. Confirm or edit the location β€” generated from your device's GPS.

  5. Tap SAVE.

Switch to Other Duty during a shift

If you are driving or on break, you can switch to Other Duty.

  1. Tap the OTHER DUTIES button on the on-duty screen.

  2. If your previous entry was Drive, enter the odometer reading (end kms for the drive).

  3. Confirm or edit the start time and location.

  4. Tap SAVE.

Other Duty vs Drive

Use Drive when...

Use Other Duty when...

You are driving a vehicle for work

You are doing non-driving work

Vehicle and odometer are required

No vehicle or odometer needed
