What Is Recorded in a Shift Record?

A shift record is a complete record of a single Work Shift.

A shift record is a complete record of a single Work Shift.

Shift record layout

Each shift record shows:

  • Reference number — unique shift ID (top left)

  • Lock status — lock icon and date if the shift is locked (top right)

  • Shift summary — date, start time, end time, shift work duration, period work duration

  • Comment — optional shift comment (if added)

  • Work logs — list of all entries (Drive, Other Duty, Break, End Shift)

  • Modifications — list of any auto-generated values that were changed (if applicable)

Shift summary

The summary bar at the top of each shift shows:

Date

The date the shift started

Start time

When the first entry began

End time

When the shift was ended

Shift duration

Total work-time for this shift

Period duration

Total work-time for the current Work Period

Durations change to red when a limit is exceeded.

Work log entries

Each entry in the work logs shows:

Column

What it shows

Left

Start time, date, timezone

Timeline

Location pin, duration of the entry

Centre

Location, vehicle details (for Drive), or entry type icon

Right

Odometer reading (km), modification indicator (if changed)

Entry types

Type

Meaning

Drive

Driving a vehicle. Shows vehicle registration and odometer.

Other Duty

Non-driving work (loading, paperwork, maintenance).

Break

A rest break. 30+ minutes counts as valid rest.

End Shift

Marks the end of the Work Shift.

Violation indicators

Tap the status icon in the app bar to see violation details for the shift.

Green check

No violations found

Red warning

One or more violations detected
