End your Work Shift when you finish work. Lock it to create a permanent record.
End your shift
You can end your shift in two ways:
Menu — tap the menu icon, then tap END WORK
Dashboard — when you have exceeded your shift or on-duty limit, an END SHIFT button appears on the dashboard
When ending:
If your previous entry was Drive, enter the odometer reading (end kms).
Confirm or edit the end time — set to now by default, or edit to a time in the past.
Confirm or edit the location — generated from your device's GPS.
Tap SAVE.
The Mobile App takes you to the logbook review screen.
Review your shift
After ending your shift, review your record on the logbook screen.
Check these details:
Shift summary — start time, end time, shift duration, period duration
Work logs — each entry with time, location, vehicle, and odometer
Violations — tap the status icon in the app bar to see violation details
If you need to fix anything, edit entries before locking. See Edit Logbook Entries.
Lock your shift
Locking makes your shift a permanent record and supplies copies to your TSL Holders.
Tap LOCK in the app bar. The button shows only when the shift is ended but not yet locked.
Read the confirmation message.
Tap CONFIRM to lock the shift.
What happens after locking
The shift record becomes permanent. You cannot edit or delete entries.
A copy is supplied to all approved TSL Holders.
A lock icon and the lock date appear on the shift.
The shift moves from "ended" to "locked" state.
See What Are the Work Shift States? for a full description of each shift state.
You must be online to lock
Locking requires an internet connection. If you are offline, the LOCK button is disabled. Connect to the internet and try again.
Review & Lock from the home screen
If you ended a shift but did not lock it, the home screen shows a REVIEW & LOCK SHIFT button instead of NEW SHIFT. Tap it to go to the logbook and lock the shift.
