Add, edit, and archive the vehicles you drive.
Vehicles can be managed in either the Logmate Mobile App or Logmate Admins. If you add or update a vehicle in Logmate Admins, pull down on the Vehicles page in the Mobile App to reload.
Open the Vehicles page
Tap Vehicles in the bottom navigation bar.
Your vehicles show as cards in a grid. Each card shows the registration plate, vehicle type, and odometer reading.
Add a vehicle
Tap the + icon in the top right.
Enter the registration plate (2 to 6 characters).
Tap the Type field.
Select a vehicle type from the grid.
Tap Save.
The registration plate cannot be changed after saving. Check it is correct before you save.
If a vehicle with the same registration plate already exists, you can still add it with a different vehicle type. Types already in use are disabled in the selector.
Vehicle types
The vehicle type sets the continuous work-time limit for Drive entries.
Vehicle type | Continuous work-time limit |
Small Passenger Service (SPSV) | 7 hours |
Taxi | 7 hours |
All other types | 5.5 hours |
Other types include: Large Passenger Service, Heavy Motor, Mobile Crane, School Bus, Vehicle Recovery Service, Vintage Heavy, Goods Service, Combination, and Emergency Service.
The vehicle type cannot be changed after saving.
Edit a vehicle
Tap a vehicle card on the Vehicles page.
Update the odometer reading.
Tap Save.
You cannot edit a vehicle while it is being driven in an active shift.
Archive a vehicle
Archiving hides a vehicle from your active list. It does not delete it.
Long press the vehicle card.
Tap ARCHIVE to confirm.
You cannot archive a vehicle during an active shift.
View archived vehicles
Tap the filter icon in the top right of the Vehicles page.
Archived vehicles appear greyed out with an "archived" label.
Reinstate an archived vehicle
Tap the filter icon to show archived vehicles.
Tap the archived vehicle card.
Tap REINSTATE to confirm.
The vehicle returns to your active list.
