Create a Logbook Account to start recording your work-time.
What you need
Your NZ driver licence (the card)
A valid email address
A NZ mobile phone number
Option 1 — Register in the Mobile App
Open the Logmate Mobile App.
Tap Register.
Follow the 5 steps: name, driver licence details, contact details, password, and terms & conditions.
Review your details and tap Confirm.
Option 2 — Register on Logmate Admins
Part 1 — Create your profile
Go to admins.logmate.co.nz.
Click Sign Up.
Complete the registration form.
Click Submit.
Part 2 — Set up your Logbook Account
Log in to Logmate Admins.
Follow the setup steps to enter your driver licence details and complete your Logbook Account.
Important — Driver licence number
Your driver licence number cannot be changed after you submit. This applies to both the Mobile App and Logmate Admins. Check it is correct before you confirm.
Verify your email
After you register, Logmate sends a confirmation email.
Open your email inbox.
Tap the link in the email to verify your account.
You must verify your email before you can log in. If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder.
If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes:
Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.
Add help@logmate.co.nz and noreply@logmate.co.nz to your contacts, then request a new verification email.
Make sure you entered your email address correctly during registration.
Troubleshooting registration errors
"Driver licence number already registered"
An account already exists for your driver licence number. Try logging in instead — use your licence number and the password you set. If you don't remember your password, use Forgot Password on the login screen.
If you can't access that account (e.g. the email address is no longer yours), contact Logmate support to update the email on the existing account.
"Account locked" or unable to log in after registering
If your account is locked or inaccessible, go to admins.logmate.co.nz/auth/register and enter your original email address and driver licence number. This reopens your account.
Driver licence number format
Your NZ driver licence number must be entered as 2 letters followed by 6 digits, with no spaces — for example, AB123456. Check you haven't included spaces or entered letters in the wrong position.
Log in
Mobile App: Enter your Licence number and Password, then tap Login.
Admins: Enter your Email and Password, then click Login.
