Rideshare Driver Guide

A guide for drivers who work with rideshare companies like Uber or Bolt.

How it works

Rideshare companies are Transport Operators on the Logmate platform. To share your work-time records with them, you need an approved TSL Holder relationship.

TSL Holder relationship

You must have an approved TSL Holder relationship with each rideshare operator you drive for. Without approval, your work-time records will not be shared with them.

Work-time records are shared when you lock a Work Shift. Only TSL Holders with an approved relationship at the time of locking receive a copy.

If a TSL Holder relationship is not yet approved when you lock a shift, that operator will not receive the records.

Check your TSL Holder relationships

Your TSL Holder relationships are managed in Logmate Admins.

  1. Log in to your Logbook Account.

  2. Check your TSL Holders and their approval status.

Make sure each rideshare operator you drive for shows as Approved before you lock your shifts.

Coming soon: TSL Holder relationship management will also be available in the Mobile App from version 2.15.

Your Software Licence

Rideshare operators do not provide Software Licences to drivers. You need a self-managed Software Licence.

See Your Software Licence for details.
