Managing Driver Software Licences As A Transport Operator

Purchase and assign Software Licences to your Drivers from one location

After a Driver accepts your invitation, they will need a Software Licence to use the Logmate app. There are two ways a Driver operating under your TSL can hold a Software Licence:

  • The Driver can purchase their own Software Licence and manage it themselves. You will still be able to see all their logbook entries, work-time balances, and violations. To learn more, read Creating A Driver Account and Managing Your Software Licence

  • Alternatively, you can purchase and manage Software Licences for your Drivers through Logmate Admins

Please Note: Drivers only need one active Software Licence. If you want to provide a licence to a Driver who already holds one, ask them to cancel their existing licence first.

Buying Software Licences For Your Drivers

Log in to Logmate Admins.

Click Account β†’ Subs & Licences in the left menu.

Click the Manage button.

You will see the following options.

Click Manage Subscription Licences (Drivers) to assign licences to your Drivers. You will see your current licences, unused licences, and a summary of any changes you make. Click Assign Licence or Unassign Licence next to each Driver.

Please Note: if a Driver does not appear in the list, they are not yet approved to drive under your TSL. They will appear once approved.

Once done, click Update Subscription Licences to save your changes.

A green bar will appear at the bottom of the page to confirm your changes.

Please Note:

  • You are charged based on the number of Software Licences you hold, on a monthly basis.

  • Licences added mid-cycle are charged at a pro-rated rate.

  • Cancelled licences remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
