Using Logmate on Multiple Devices

How Logmate works when you use more than one phone or switch to a new device.

Can I use Logmate on two phones?

Yes. You can sign in to the same account on more than one phone. Your logbook data syncs between devices when you have an internet connection.

However, you should only use one device at a time during a shift. Making entries on two devices at the same time can cause sync conflicts.

How does sync work?

The Mobile App stores your logbook data on your phone and syncs it with Logmate servers. When you open the Mobile App on a different device:

  • Your shifts and entries sync from the server

  • Changes you made on one device appear on the other

  • Sync happens automatically when you have an internet connection

If you made changes while offline, they sync the next time you connect.

Switch to a new phone

  1. Install the Logmate Mobile App on your new phone. See Download the Logmate App.

  2. Sign in with your driver licence number and password.

  3. Your logbook data syncs from the server.

You do not need to transfer data manually. Your logbook history is stored on Logmate servers.

Reload Profile

If your account details are out of date on one device (for example, after changing your email on another device), use Reload Profile to sync:

  1. Open the Mobile App.

  2. Tap Menu.

  3. Tap Reload Profile.

This refreshes your profile, licence status, and TSL Holder relationships from the server.

Tips

  • Sign out of your old phone if you no longer use it

  • Keep the Mobile App updated on all devices

  • Use Reload Profile after making account changes in Logmate Admins
