Answers to common questions from drivers.

What if my phone battery dies?

Your logbook data is saved on your phone and on Logmate servers. When your phone turns back on, your data is still there.

If your phone dies during a shift, your shift stays open. When your phone restarts, open the Mobile App and continue your shift. Edit the entry times if needed to match your actual work-time. See Edit Logbook Entries.

You must have a valid logbook at all times while working. Keep your phone charged.

How much data does Logmate use?

Very little. Most actions use less than 1 MB per day. The Mobile App works offline and syncs when you have a connection.

How do I record days off?

You do not need to record days off. Logmate only tracks time when you have an active shift. Your rest time between shifts is calculated automatically.

How do I record other employment?

If you do paid work that is not driving, record it as an Other Duty entry. Other Duty counts toward your total work-time. See Record Other Duties.

How do I check my Mobile App version?

Open the Mobile App and tap Menu. The version number is shown at the bottom.

Keep your Mobile App updated to the latest version for fixes and new features. See Download the Logmate App for update instructions.
